What we collect and why
When you visit the site
Our website hosting provider automatically records basic technical information about each request in its server logs, such as your IP address, browser and device type, the page requested, and the date and time. This is used to deliver the site, keep it secure and fix problems.
When you email us
If you email us, we receive your email address, your name if you include it, and anything else you choose to write. We use it to reply to you and, if we work together, to manage that relationship and keep business records. Please don’t send confidential or sensitive information by email unless we have agreed in writing to receive it.
Cookies and tracking
The site stores nothing on your device: no cookies and no local storage. It doesn’t use analytics, advertising pixels or social media plugins, and our fonts are served from our own site, so visiting doesn’t send your information to other companies apart from our hosting provider.
Because we don’t track visitors, there is nothing for “Do Not Track” or Global Privacy Control signals to switch off. The site behaves the same whether or not your browser sends them.
Who we share it with
We share personal information with service providers that help us run our business, and only so they can provide their services to us. These include providers of website hosting, email, file storage, scheduling and video calls, and professional advisers such as accountants and lawyers.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of our business. We do not sell personal information or share it for targeted advertising.
How long we keep it
Our hosting provider keeps server logs under its own retention policies. We keep emails and related records for as long as we need them to respond to you, to manage any working relationship, and to meet our legal, tax and record-keeping obligations.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold, including serving the site over HTTPS. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we can’t guarantee absolute security.
Your choices
You can email info@saadlabs.co to ask what personal information we hold about you, or to ask us to correct or delete it. We’ll respond within a reasonable time. We may need to verify your identity first, and we may keep some information where the law requires or allows it, for example to keep business records or resolve disputes. We can’t delete information held by our hosting provider in its server logs, which it removes under its own retention policies.
Children
This site is meant for businesses and is not directed to children under 13. We don’t knowingly collect personal information from children.
Where your information is processed
Saad Labs is based in the United States and the site is intended for visitors in the United States. We process information in the United States, and our service providers may process it in other countries where they operate.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle personal information, we’ll update this page and the date at the top.
